Dr. Pedigo and his dedicated staff are pleased to introduce a series of small group classes that will help both parents and children strengthen the bond that already exists.
Research-based, proven effective programs for reducing children's aggression and behavior problems and increasing social competence at home and at school.
The Child classes focus on these topics:

- Using effective problem solving strategies
- Managing Anger
- Practicing friendship and conversational skills
- Appropriate classroom behaviors
The Parent classes focus on these topics:
- The benefit of play and positive attention
- Praise and rewards
- Effective limit setting
- Dealing with noncompliance
- Effective use of time out and preventive approaches
- Promoting academic success
Help Young Adolescents Make Good Choices
This new research-based program teaches middle school students vital skills that steer them away from risky situations and help them build strong social connections.
The program focuses on:
- Bullying prevention
- Substance abuse prevention
- Violence prevention
- Empathy and communication
- Emotion management and coping
- Problem solving, decision making, and goal setting
Goals: Prevent and reduce risk factors.
- Aggression and impulsivity
- Peer rejection
Increase Protective factors such as:
- Social skills
- School success
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Emotion management
The curriculum uses several teaching strategies, including group discussion; individual, partner, and group activities; and interactive exercises, games, and skill practice.
Lesson content and learning strategies align with academic and life-skills standards.
Parents have the opportunity to participate in group focused on child behavior management strategies including:

- Establishing a behavioral contract
